From Pinocchio's Father Geppetto to Brustolon. Stories about Sculptors and Pieces of Wood.
This tour is dedicated to children at Nursery School. This programme was created and is lead by Claudia Alpago-Novello.
Duration : 90 minutes (only during the month of June)
This is a totally interactive and recreational experience. The works of art on display act as a backdrop to stimulate stories and tales connected to the life of the artist, his work as a sculptor and the transformation of a piece wood into an object or sculpture.

After the initial discovery moment, the young visitors are shown how to observe the objects on display attentively. This is also done by using drawings and sensorial activities so that the youngsters can learn by coming into direct contact with different shapes, forms and kinds of wood.
Method, Place and Duration
Here, it is necessary to take into consideration that this educational tour is proposed to very young
children, therefore only small groups of (max 15 children) are ideal. Children are not required to bring
their own drawing or colouring materials as these shall be provided by the Exhibition.
